Be confident your child will have a safe and super fun experience - Director Mike Karr has over 20 years of sport facility administrative and youth coaching experience.  Our programs are well-organized, professionally administered and we utilize a proven curriculum providing both structure and enjoyment of the games all week long.  

Coach Mike is supported by an enthusiastic staff with background checks via SafeSport who love to play sports and are great with kids:

• Nick Bishop - In his fifth year of coaching camps with Blue Tornado this summer, Nick is a special eduction teacher and boys varsity soccer coach at Rockledge High School 
• Mikayla Smith - A recent graduate from University of Central Florida earning her bachelor's in Child Psychology and is the current Blue Tornado 3.5-5 year old soccer coach.
• We also have a pool of collegiate student-athletes returning for their second or third year of coaching summer camps with Blue Tornado

Our unique facility features two outdoor fields surrounded by hockey boards with an artificial grass surface to provide plenty of field space - see video above. There are shade screens over the practice field to minimize sun exposure and ample shaded seating directly next to the fields including the deck area as well as under the pool lanai and new deck pergula.  In addition, we have a private walkway to our neighbor, Montessori Bilingual Academy of Rockledge, where we can utilize their air-conditioned classrooms to eat lunch or provide safe shelter and activities in the case of heavy rain and/or lighting.

2026 Camp Dates

• For boys and girls ages 5 to 14 years 
• 1/2 Day options:  $175.00/participant, AM Option: 8:45 am drop off, 12:00 - 12:15 pm pick up,  PM Option: 12:00 pm drop off,  3:00 pm pick up.  
• Full Day option:  $300.00/participant, 8:45 am drop off, 3:00 - 3:15 pm pick up
• Per Day option:  1/2 Day, $50/participant/day.  Full day $75/participant/day.  
• Extended Care options:  $10/hour/day. 12:00 - 1:00 pm or 3:00 - 4:00 pm.  Can purchase ahead of time or arrange day of if needed.
• Discounts:
  • Multiple camp discount $25 off each additional camp and is applied automatically at checkout.  
  • $25 of each additional sibling registered and is applied automatically at checkout.
  • $50 off for all first responders and military; please text or email Mike to receive discount code.  
• Swimming is optional but not an additional charge and will be in the afternoons between 1:30 - 3:00 pm.   Campers that choose not to swim can play games with the coaches on the pool deck, relax under the lanai or new pergola or play sport games on the fields with the coaches.  
• Ice Skating is on Friday, after lunch, from 1:00-3:00 pm.  This is optional and there is an additional $15.00 charge per participant to include ice time and rental skates (if needed).  Skating walkers are available for an additional $5 and are recommended for 5 and 6 year olds if never ice skated before.  Participants not wanting to ice skate will be supervised by camp staff and will play games inside the Iceplex.  
• Nerf Gun Battle is on Friday, before lunch, from 11:000 am - 12:00 pm.  Participants should bring their own nerf gun and soft bullets (no pellet nerf gun ammo is allowed).  Blue Tornado has a limited amount of Nerf Guns and bullets to loan as well.  
• Participants should wear tennis shoes and comfortable athletic clothes as well as bring a refillable water bottle, sunscreen, snack (both half and full day), lunch (full day), hat if preferable and small towel.
